I'm back...

Soooooooooooo.

*insert long, drawn-out sigh here*

I'm back, I think.

I have no idea why I left diaryland for so long. I did still read everyone's diaries on here. Sorry about that.

I... wow. It's been an interesting two months. If you want the full details, you can catch up first on my ujournal and later on my livejournal, but that might take years. There's some funny stuff on there though. I rarely wrote about anything serious (except now I have the opportunity to write LJ-friends-only posts, which is excellent), so it's mostly me rambling about random things in my life, and writing down the funny things other people say, and occasionally even the funny things *I* say. (Very occasionally, though. Mwahahaha.)

If I was a truly dedicated persun, I'd go through the UJ and LJ and do a real summary of the past two months, but I'm not, so I'm just going to flip through my agenda book.

Life has just been busy, busy, busy. Lots of psych outlines, review sessions with Jackie and Missy, after-school review sessions with Mr. Kaplan, hysterical Sunday nights trying to finish my math & history for Maggie, French essays and tapes due every Monday and Friday. I read "Catch-22" and "The Importance of Being Earnest" with Carley and am about to start "To Kill A Mockingbird." We watched Harry Potter dubbed in French. I got the highest grade in the class on our last physics test (95!). I went to two Sweet Sixteens (Shriya's on October 25th and Frances's on December 6th). I took the PSAT and left way too many math questions blank. We tried to have the wooden floors in our house cleaned (involving sanding and polyurethane, a whole mess) and it turned into an even greater mess, with a leak and a hanging that fell down, in the process shattering its plexiglas frame and cracking a tile. We went to Utah for a weekend. We went to a Bernese bash, basically a convention of Bernese mountain dogs. I finished the course of global history with Maggie and have started American history, but we can't find a textbook I like, because I am very picky. I started sneaking out for lunch with Kris, Jackie, and JP; just driving from the high school to Pizza 2000, not very far, not very dangerous, but Mom and Dad would never give me permission. I talk to Lauren on the phone for an hour every weekend. I went to Jane's 95th birthday party in NYC. I saw "Movin' Out" the day after it came out. I complained a lot about Spanish classes. I dressed up as a sexy Elf for Halloween and Kris drove me and Jackie to our psychology teacher's house. My hair, rather than looking like Eowyn, which had been my intention, ended up looking somewhat like Hermione. My dress was sparkly silver, not Elvish at all, but it had pretty flared sleeves. I went to the dentist and got flu shots (exciting, I know). Mom and Dad went to Geneva for a weekend because the son of a good friend of theirs died. I stayed up past midnight every night talking to people online. We had a big cumulative psych test at the end of the quarter and I studied a lot with Jackie and Missy and got 100. My prize? Another textbook! Alexis took me to see "8 Mile." I watched the director's cut of "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" and decided that it is my favorite movie of all time. I saw "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" the day it came out. We went to Washington DC for a weekend. I got sick. I pretended to have a phobia of staplers in AP Psychology class. Missy dropped physics and Shriya wanted to lynch the other guy in our lab group, Andy, so we tried to combine with the Kris-Amy-Mike lab group. Mr. Cleary set lots of things on fire. Katie visited our high school for a day. I started being a serious Teacher's Assistant with the JHU writing tutorials: not only sending out reminders, but also writing lists of hints for each assignment, and even writing some critiques. I went over to Kris's apartment and watched "Clerks" and "Spiderman." David and Lauren came home over Thanksgiving break, and we didn't go to Utah, which made me very happy. I labelled a five-inch-stack-high of photos and am still nowhere near done. We met Lauren's boyfriend Mark. We saw "Our Town" with Paul Newman. I "watched" "Dirty Work" and "Zoolander" at Kris's apartment. I went swimming in our pool for the first time in months. It snowed and we were dismissed early, then had a 2-hour delay. We went sledding outside. I said that rather than reliving my childhood, I'm living my adolescence.

I've been going out with Kris for a month. Long story. Most of what I write about him will be in LJ friends-only posts, so let me know if you have a LJ and I'll add you. :) I don't like it that anyone could stumble upon this and read what I write, but I don't want to lock. Kris makes me happy. He would do anything for me and that's a scary thought. I talked to him about therapy, depression, OCD, competition with my siblings. I didn't want to scare him away but I wanted him to realize what he was getting into. But things are good and I love cuddling with him at his apartment, he tickles me as punishment and I love the way he makes me feel like a better persun, because he sees me as such a wonderful persun, and that makes me FEEL more like one.

I can't believe how long it's been since I've written in here. I don't know how I'm going to divide up writing between this and my livejournal, but I promise, no more unannounced hiatus-es from now on, alright? :)

It's good to be back.
